Real planning,
for real lives.
A fee-only financial planning practice for everyday families — built on plain language, a real relationship, and advice that answers only to you.

Your money, in plain language.
I spent the first part of my career at a big brokerage, where the families I most wanted to help were the ones I was quietly told were not worth my time. I started Glenrose to do the opposite — to sit down with ordinary households, the teachers and nurses and small-business owners and two-income families, and build them a real financial plan in language they can actually follow. I am fee-only, which means you pay me directly and I sell nothing. No commissions, no products, no pressure. I work with you the way I would want someone to work with my own family: patiently, honestly, and for the long haul.
About the practice
Everything in one plan.
A complete fiduciary practice serving the financial needs of established households.

Financial Planning
The foundation: a clear picture of where you stand and a real plan for where you are headed. Saving, spending, debt, big goals — college, a home, a comfortable retirement — all in one place and in plain language.

Retirement Planning
Whether retirement is thirty years off or right around the corner, we map out how much you will need, how to get there, and how to turn what you have saved into a paycheck that lasts.

Investment Management
A sensible, low-cost portfolio built around your goals and your comfort with risk — not a sales pitch. No proprietary funds, no commissions, just an allocation that fits the plan.

Tax Planning
Year-round, not just at filing time. We look for the moves that quietly save money over time — the right accounts, Roth conversions, the timing of income — and coordinate with your tax preparer.

Insurance & Protection
An honest look at the risks worth covering — life, disability, the gaps that could derail a plan — and how much coverage actually makes sense. No products sold here, just clear guidance on what you need.

Estate & Legacy
The essentials handled right — beneficiaries, a current will, the basic documents — and a simple plan for taking care of the people you love. Coordinated with your attorney.
Real families, planning real lives.
A regional fiduciary practice for established families.

Young families getting organized
Buying a home, paying down debt, starting to save for college and retirement, figuring out where the money should go first. We bring order to the years when everything is happening at once.

Mid-career and building
Earning well, juggling competing goals, and wanting to make sure it is all adding up to something. We help you save smarter, lower the tax bill, and stay on track.

Nearing retirement
Five to ten years out and starting to ask the real questions — can I afford it, when can I stop, will it last. We turn the worry into a plan you can see.

Newly retired or in transition
A new job, a marriage, a loss, the first years of retirement. The moments when good guidance matters most. We slow down and walk through it with you.
A simple way to start.
Four phases that produce a plan and a relationship designed to last.
A first conversation
We talk about where you are, what is on your mind, and what you would like to be different. No pitch, no homework, no cost. By the end you will know whether we are a fit.
Your plan
We gather the full picture and build a plan around your goals — what to do this year, what to do next, and why. Everything in plain language, on one set of pages you can actually use.
Putting it in motion
We help you take the steps that matter, from setting up accounts to making the moves the plan calls for. You are never doing it alone or guessing what comes next.
Before we talk.
What prospective families ask me most often.
Who do you work with?
Everyday families — teachers, nurses, small-business owners, two-income households, people a few years from retirement. If you want a real financial plan in plain language and an advisor who actually knows your name, you are who we built this for.
Is there a minimum?
No high minimum to get started. We care more about whether you want a real plan than about the size of your accounts. The best first step is a conversation, and we will be honest with you about whether we are a good fit.
How are you paid?
We are fee-only. You pay us directly — a clear, agreed-upon fee disclosed in full in our Form ADV. We earn no commissions, sell no products, and take no referral fees, so there is nothing steering the advice but your plan.
What does "fee-only" actually mean?
It means our only income comes from you, the client. We do not sell insurance or investment products and we get no kickbacks for recommending anything. That removes the hidden conflicts most people do not even know to look for.
Do you handle taxes and investments?
We do year-round tax planning and coordinate with your preparer, though we do not file returns. We also manage investments — a sensible, low-cost portfolio built around your plan, not as a sales pitch.
